Tis the Season

November is here and Halloween has come and gone. Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. Ah, the most WONDERFUL time of the year! We have so much on our calendars for this holiday season! Meag's Christmas performances, Merry Main Street, Radio City Rockettes and more. The minute the Starbucks Christmas cups were out, meant game on for the holiday decor! :-) Meag already has her Christmas dress and we have already started shopping for presents! This holiday season is especially special. Meag is home...for ALL of it! Every single holiday from here on out, our precious little girl will be able to be home for every single memory. I can be driving, working, or watching tv and it is constantly on my mind and it brings me such peace. I am overwhelmed with excitement, joy, love, and feel so blessed. Meag will be sleeping safe and sound, in her bed every single night. I can't tell you how many teachers, friends, etc. have told us that just since this all happened, Meag is so relieved, not scared and has a constant smile on her face. Warms our hearts.

This year the Radio City Rockettes are on tour and I bought tickets for Meag and I to have a MD (Mommy-Daughter) day packed with fun girl time! Starting the day off with coffee, shopping, mani's and pedi's and ending the night with the performance! We are sooooo excited! We are going to dress up and enjoy this fun time together. We told Daddy he should plan a poker game with his buddies. :-)

Since Meag is home for forever now, boy have we added to our tradition ideas! :-) We are having holiday baking days for friends, teachers, and family, craft nights, musical performances, Christmas book story-time, Christmas movie nights, cutting down a fresh Christmas tree for her room, caroling and more! We are also hosting my sister's engagement party which we are so excited about! So many fun things this holiday season and most importantly, we can't forget the reason for the season, our Jesus Christ.

Cheers to a very Merry holiday season!
