Christmas has come and gone. So fast. Such a bitter sweet feeling. As you all know, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Holiday shopping. Holiday baking. Wrapping presents. Family time around the Christmas tree. As Mike and I packed up the car to head to grandma's, I looked at him and felt so blessed. Not only have we had the most amazing two years being married, but our precious Meag came to live with us. Something she, and we, had been praying for, for a VERY long time. Home safe. She was broken hearted that she couldn't be home for Christmas but we assured her, she was in our hearts every minute of every day. Poor thing, she doesn't understand why she just can't live with us 365 days out of the year. As she came home today, she couldn't give us enough squeezes and kisses. She is so glad to be home and we are so glad to have her home. A year ago, we were getting ready to put forth alot, alot of money and start the custody battle. God can move mountains and works miracles and a mountain was moved where we didn't have to go to court and received custody of our precious Meag. So, this year, no presents were needed. The best present of all was bringing Meag home to us. I can finally sleep good at night knowing she is safe and at peace. I am so excited about what we have to look forward to in the future. God is so wonderful!
Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!
