Summer Sun

"Celebrate Summer - Sun drenched days and starlit nights..."

TAKS testing is over and the countdown to summer vacation is on! So many wonderful things happening this summer! My beautiful, little sister is getting married; Meag is enrolled in fun, summer camps; we are traveling to the place which is a little slice of Heaven, Maine, and we are having fun in the sun at the pool! Cannot wait! We had such a good summer last year. Normally, Meag would be gone the majority of July but since that awful part of her life is over, she is home the whole time! WOO HOO!

This will be Meag's first time in Maine and she is so excited!! Maine is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. We stay in a quaint little area that overlooks a lighthouse. It is just dreamy! We spend tons of time on a wrap around porch, go hiking, eat lobster for breakfast, lunch and dinner...okay maybe not breakfast but definitely lunch and dinner! We have a lobster man that fishes for us and brings it just in time for us to start cooking dinner. YUM! Fresh lobster every...single...day! We have fresh blueberries for blueberry pancakes. There is a little shopping town where we go during the trip and enjoy the intimate mom and pop antique shops and gift shops. One of the little shops has the most decadent soaps in the world. We always stock up on them when we go.

Then, Mike and I are planning our 5 year anniversary trip! FIVE YEARS! I can't believe we have been married almost 5 years! Love him more every day. We are going someplace tropical: St. Lucia, Turks and Caicos...haven't decided just yet. Can't wait though!!!!

Looking forward to summer bbq's, summer nights in the backyard, picnics on a blanket, outside movie nights. zoo trips, vacations and some fun at the pool! Hurry up summer and get here! :-)
